Block Boss — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Block Boss ("we", "our", "the app") handles user data. By installing or using Block Boss, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

1. Data We Collect

Block Boss is designed to be privacy-respecting. We do not collect personal information.

The following data may be stored:

• Locally on your device: game progress (scores, levels, unlocked skins, settings, daily missions). Stored in PlayerPrefs / app local storage.
• Anonymous cloud sync (optional): via Unity Gaming Services. Game progress (best scores, leaderboard entries, save snapshot) is associated with an anonymous user ID generated by Unity. No name, email, phone number, or other personal identifier is collected.
• Crash diagnostics: if the app crashes, anonymized stack traces (device model, OS version, app version, exception type) are stored locally. These are not automatically transmitted unless you explicitly choose to share them with support.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, address)
• Location data (GPS, IP-based)
• Contacts, photos, microphone, camera access
• Behavioral advertising data
• Payment information

3. Third-Party Services

Block Boss uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Unity Gaming Services (Authentication, Cloud Save, Leaderboards) — Unity Privacy Policy
• Google Play Services (delivery, updates) — Google Privacy Policy

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA / GDPR-K)

Block Boss is suitable for general audiences (rated E/PEGI 3). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. All cloud-stored data is anonymous (no PII), making the app compliant with COPPA and GDPR-K requirements.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights at any time:

• Data deletion: in-game Settings → "Reset Progress" wipes all local and cloud data.
• Opt-out of cloud sync: data stays only on your device. (Feature: in-game Settings → Cloud Sync toggle.)
• Right to know what's stored: contact us at blockboss.app@gmail.com.

6. Data Retention

Cloud sync data is retained as long as your anonymous account is active. If you do not open the app for 24 months, your cloud data may be automatically deleted by Unity Gaming Services. Local data lives on your device until you uninstall the app or reset progress.

7. Security

Cloud data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on Unity's servers (Google Cloud Platform infrastructure). We rely on industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Because no personally identifiable information is collected, breach risk is minimized.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification or app update notes.
